Kindergartens for all communities in NE China city

Each residential district of Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, will have a kindergarten by the end of 2015.

Shenyang will expand the number of kindergartens to 1,189 by the end of 2015, the local government said on Wednesday.

Moreover, the local government provides 100-yuan ($16.41) subsidies each month to students at public and private kindergartens. The government will invest 180 million yuan each year in preschool education from 2014 and supplement related policies.

There are currently 959 kindergartens in Shenyang. However, there are still thousands of preschool age children who don't receive a formal preschool education due to the shortage of resources.
