Research base set up

Approved by the Supreme People's Court (SPC), China's first research base on IPR judicial protection was established in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.

The research base will carry out various research activities in IPR judicial protection, integrate all resources of IPR judicial investigations, extend research fields, make innovation in research mechanism and provide effective support for strengthening judicial IPR protection, Xi Xiaoming, SPC vice-president, said in a letter of congratulation.

Xi said he hoped the base could make unique contribution to building theoretical system of IPR judicial protection with Chinese characteristics, exerting the role of judicial protection and constructing an innovation-oriented country.
