Q: What do you think of the future of the sewing machinery industry?

A: As long as the earth is not destroyed, human beings will need clothing. This means the future for our sewing machine business. Furthermore, our machines can sew everything from wallets, handbags to furniture and seat belts on automobiles and airplanes.           

Q: How much do you get involved in the company's daily management?

A: I live on the company campus, the top floor of the office building. I start my day by inspecting the firm at 7am. I think of the company every minute. But in terms of actual management work, I do nothing. I read many newspapers and magazines, collecting industry trend information.

Q: Do your family members help you with the company?                       

A: My wife has no interests in managing the enterprise. She is only in charge of the warehouse and taking care of female workers. The majority of our employees are women. My only daughter is in her third year in Zhejiang University, majoring in journalism. I don't think she can take over the company one day, as there are many people here much more qualified than her. Feiyue is not just my company; it is the society's.
