China has ranked number one in the world for 10 consecutive years and accounts for a quarter of the world's total output, according to the R&D organization of Kirin Holdings Co, Japan on August 8, 2012.
According to statistics for the 2011 beer production output of major beer production countries, China's beer production increased by 10.7 percent over the previous year.
The findings also show that in 2011, the total output of the world beer production amounted to 192.71 million kiloliters, increasing by 3.7 percent year-on-year.
