Large Medium SmallBEIJING -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.94 percent, or 19.73 points, to close at 2,123.36.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 1.18 percent, or 106.75 points, to finish at 9,165.97.
