Chinese porcelain worth a total of $337,500 has been shipped to the United Kingdom as souvenirs tailored for the 4-day celebration of the UK's Queen Elizabeth II's 60th anniversary on the throne beginning June 2.

The exported porcelain, with the Queen's portrait and special royal design on it, includes 23,400 bone china plates of different specifications made by Tangshan Hengrui Ceramics Ltd, whose china was handpicked previously for the British Prince William's wedding ceremony. Also included were 31,700 ceramic whiteware cups made by Tangshan Imperial-Hero Ceramics Co, Ltd.

Bone china as the world's first-class porcelain has long been favored since its first appearance at Tangshan of North China's Hebei province back in 1973.
