90% of non-Beijing-natives satisfy with jobs

The result of a survey showed that 89.2 percent of non-Beijing-natives are satisfied with their jobs in the municipality, The Beijing News reported on Thursday.

The survey, conducted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, revealed that 75.21 percent of non-Beijing-natives come to Beijing for work.

Among the respondents, more than 20 percent engage in self-employed business, and the majority are the post-80s and post-90s generation and come from Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, the report said.

The main businesses of the respondents are in the wholesale and retail trade, while resident services or other services come second, and construction third.

The results of the survey will support formulations and improvements to the national public employment service, according to the report.
