China's chopper industry flying high

As the world's witnesses China's phenomenal growth in the helicopter industry, Tianjin is fast becoming the central base of growth of this industry in the north.

With a total construction area of 273,000 square meters, China's Industrial Base of Civil Aviation produces various kinds of domestic and jointly developed helicopters, including the Straight series helicopters, H410, H425, HC120 and CA109.

According to Image China, by 2017 the factory's annual output helicopters could reach over 300 annually.
