BEIJING - Chinese shares dived on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.94 percent, or 42.71 points, to finish at 2,155.81.
The Shenzhen Component Index plunged 2.02 percent, or 174.24 points, to finish at 8,439.47.
