Large Medium SmallCNOOC Ltd, the listed unit of China National Offshore Oil Corp, the country's biggest offshore oil producer, plans to accelerate the development of the Liwan gas project in the South China Sea with its partner Husky Energy Inc.
The companies are "confident" about the natural gas project, Wang Yilin, CNOOC chairman, said at the company's annual general meeting in Hong Kong on Friday.
