Villagers work around the clock for water

Villagers work underground to build a water tank at night in drought-plagued Hechi city of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, March 28, 2010. A water head was discovered at a village in the Yao ethnic community in south China's Guangxi. By last Sunday night, two tanks were built for water storage after all 24 households in the village took turns to work day and night. The new storage tank is expected to relieve the drinking water shortage caused by the severe drought. [Photo/Xinhua]
