Is life in China more affordable?

Khan (China)

I am now working in Tokyo. The costs of the service sector and catering business are much higher than those in China due to the high labor cost. The parking fees usually cost about 500 yen ($4.2) per hour and I pay about 40, 000 yen ($340) each month. The starting fair for Japanese taxi is 730 yen, which covers the first 2km. A haircut here costs about 5000 yen ($42) so I have decided to grow my hair long. But the prices of household appliances and luxury commodities are cheaper. The housing price, including the rent, is equivalent to China, but the Japanese income is handsome and if both the couples are working then they can afford an apartment in three or four years.
