Statistics bureau to release key economic data

On Thursday, the National Bureau of Statistics will release the latest economic figures, including those related to the consumer price index and the producer price index for February. The CPI is the main gauge of inflation, while the PPI indicates changes in wholesale prices, and a decline can reflect deflation in the industrial sector.

Guangzhou fair to showcase VR and AR gadgets

Asia VR and AR Fair and Summit will be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, from Wednesday to Saturday. The fair will showcase the latest virtual reality and augmented reality products. After Guangzhou, the event will move to Wuhan, Hubei province, in May. The fair will also be held in South Africa in August and in Beijing in November.

Olympic city to host major winter festival

The Corona SunSets winter festival will be held from Friday to Sunday in Zhangjiakou, Hebei province, a host city of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. It will feature shows by Dutch singer Lodewijk Fluttert, known by his stage name Bakermat, and Australian singer Conrad Sewell. Simon Beck, a British snow artist will walk on the snow ground to "paint" a giant mandala.
