Thai students a cut above the rest at Chinese proficiency competition

Thai students picked up the champion for the Eighth "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign High School Students in Kunming city, Yunnan province, on Oct 31.

The competition is an annual event hosted by the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) in Beijing. This year's event, held in Kunming on Oct 19, welcomed over 400 competitors from 81 countries.
