SYDNEY - A fire broke out at a service station in Sydney's west on Monday, local media reported.

The New South Wales Fire and Rescue crews were called to the BP service station on Hoxton Park Road, at Liverpool where a number of 200 liter liquefied petroleum gas cylinders caught alight at 1: 30 pm local time on Monday, The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper reported.

Eight fire crews are on the scene, trying to contain the fire.

There are no reports of any injuries so far, the newspaper said.
