Iran warns to fight back if attacked

TEHRAN - A senior commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said Sunday that Iran will attack any location where attacks against Iran are initiated, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

Hossein Salami, the deputy head of IRGC, told Fars that "Any location which is used by the enemy for raids against the Islamic republic will be targeted by the IRGC forces."

Salami made the remarks during IRGC's military drills underway near Iran's southern waters.

IRGC announced on Saturday that the country started "Hamiane Velayat" (supporters of Velayat) military drills in southern Iran.
