Living on a little island

An 86-year-old man purchased a small island and spent years turning into a habitable residence. He's surrounded by nothing but beautiful beaches, pristine ocean water and and tall trees. Though his is the only house on the island, he’s not exactly living alone.

Parking lots are ugly

A professor in the United States wrote a book proposing that we change the way we think about parking lots. Car parks, as they're called in other parts of the world, are too big; they're like huge concrete deserts. He thinks they should be more beautiful and environmentally friendly. Smooth criminal: Moonwalk!

White House Correspondents' Dinner highlights

Every year, journalists, celebrities and major political figures gather for the White House Correspondents' Dinner. This year, many issues were discussed, including some of the latest controversial news stories. Check out the best moments from the 2012 dinner.

An Australian billionaire has announced his plan to build the Titanic 2 in China. The ship already crashed once and killed hundreds. Let's not risk reliving that.

A 60-year-old woman in China has taken up an interesting hobby: pole dancing. She says it's not about the sexuality and only about the exercise. I’d pay to see that.

A man named Jose de Jesus Miranda says an earthquake will destroy the world on June 30, 2012. Kicker: He says he will be saved and also gain super powers, like the ability to fly.

China's 7 million pigs produce 1.5 million tons of pig poop each year. An Australian company says that poop could be used to generate power and heat. Sounds like it could work.
