Dominic Johnson-Hill has a t-shirt brand named Plastered 8. Its Chinese name is chuang ke tie (Woundplast), a name given by his friend. His brand earns 5 million yuan per year. On his business card he calls himself the creative dictator. He says creativity is the spirit of his brand, and he is the one behind it.

He traveled many countries before choosing to live in China more than 18 years ago. His brand is making him famous in China. Many people buy his t-shirt in Nan Luo Gu Xiang where his shop is located. He stops by his shop every morning at 8am or when there's an emergency. Otherwise, he spends his time in his office with his creative team.
