BEIJING – After one and half months of work and waiting, Huang Rixin's capsule apartment 3.0 was introduced in Mayubeikou, Shijingshan district, Beijing.
His smaller capsule apartment 2.0 – at 2.4 meters long, 2 meters tall and just 0.72 meters wide – was torn down at the end of July after the release of a draft regulation for housing rentals in Beijing in late April that said that the per-person size of a rental unit should be no less than 10 square meters.
