The Water Cube that hosted the 2008 World Olympic Games turned part of it into a giant water park on Sunday, August 8th, on its two-year anniversary.

Officials said that this water park concentrates some of the world or Asia's largest aquatic facilities. It has a limited capacity, and visitors might have to wait to get in. For safety reason, parts of the facility need to be closed temporarily each day for routine maintenance during opening hours.

Apart from building the Water Park, the National Aquatic Center has also reduced its seats by 11,000 and kept 6,000 in its main competition hall for hosting future international swimming games. Last week, it opened another swimming pool and three exhibition centers for the public.
