China International Search & Rescue Team (CISAR) and monks from Yushu Jiegu temple had finally rescued a 13-year-old girl from the ruins of a collapsed hotel in Yushu county today.

So far the little girl, known as a Tibetan, was not injured and has been taken to a hospital for further examination.

The hotel was a four-floor building but two floors were shaken down by the 7.1 magnitude earthquake which happened at 7:49 Wednesday morning. The rescue workers arrived at the scene around 10 am and finally rescued the young victim together with monks from local temple after a three-hours' endeavor.

Thanks to gaps between the debris which had given the space and oxygen for the little girl to survive.
