Yuan Jiayang moved to Beijing when he was 15. He studied marketing and international business in the USA and came back to Beijing in 2004. He has worked many jobs and finally decided to set up his own Western Wedding business in Beijing. He built a castle in the countryside outside the city. The wedding venue is about 90 minutes' driving from the city and was built on land owned by his father.

Yang thinks the young Beijing people can accept new ideas, so a wedding held outdoors in the countryside with blue sky, fresh air and mountains around will be more satisfactory for them than a traditional Chinese wedding.
