South Korea's special presidential envoy, Sakong II, was in Beijing on August 20, before the G20 summit in the US next month. He talked with Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Qishan about the willingness of South Korea to also host a G20 summit.

Shortly after his meeting with Wang, Sakong commented on the 60th anniversary of the PRC when receiving an exclusive interview with China Daily.

"There’s no doubt that Chinese reform and the opening up strategy is the most dramatically successful case in global economic history."

"The dramatic development not only helps Chinese people, but the whole world.

Because you provide a market and the destination for investment, it's a mutually beneficial thing. "
