Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met domestic and overseas journalists Saturday morning on the sidelines of the annual parliament session at a press conference held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Yang said 2008 was a year of good harvest despite enormous challenges for China's diplomatic work.
He made remarks on a variety of issues, including China-US relations, efforts against climate change, Chinese relics' auction in Paris, and the upcoming G20 summit in London.
