Houston Rockets' NBA star Yao Ming Monday came back to China, ahead of his schedule.
"The Year of the Yao", an 89-minute film giving a behind-the-scenes look at Yao Ming's first NBA season, is set to make a US debut.
Yao Ming had 27 points and a career-high 22 rebounds to help the Rockets defeat the Suns 127-107.
The Miami Heat, battling for the top record in the NBA, placed Chinese center Wang Zhi-Zhi on the injured list with a respiratory infection.
Yao Ming scored 23 points, including the winning free throws with 15.2 seconds left, to lead Houston to a 103-102 victory over the Lakers.

Yao received 2,558,278 votes in winning the starting center for the Western Conference All-Star team for the 3rd straight year.
