The Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, Taiwan's No 1 international touring orchestra, is visiting Guangdong province's capital Guangzhou on Oct 13 to stage a concert of Taiwan folk tunes and Western classical masterpieces.
Three melodies that describe Taiwan's beautiful sceneries and joyful folk dances are the first half of the concert's highlights. The second half will feature Beethoven's Symphony No 7.
