Ute Lemper, winner of Lawrence Olivier Award, the highest honor in British theater, is coming to Guangzhou Opera House on June 8 to stage her only show on the Chinese mainland.
The German chanteuse is known for her performances in Broadway classics including Cats, Chicago and Cabaret. She is also internationally recognized as the best interpreter of Kurt Weill's works. In her Guangzhou performance, Lemper will sing Broadway classics, Kurt Weill's songs and her newest creation, Ultimo Tango.
