Large Medium SmallThe 3rd Golden Palm and Golden Raspberry Award of Chinese Contemporary Art 2011 recently announced its results in Beijing.
Co-hosted by Art Time magazine and "Chinese Modern Art File" project, the annual award was initiated by young Chinese art critics and aims to provide academic analysis and objective reviews of all artworks exhibited in the previous year.
The Golden Palm Award is awarded to 10 artworks that have the most creative value, while the Golden Raspberry Award is given to another 10 artworks that failed.
The awards are arrived at by independent nomination and open discussion.
