Preparations for the 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) is going smoothly, said Huang Ling, director of the program affair department of the organizing committee of the fair, at a press conference held in Beijing late last month.
The American Certification Institution has joined hands with the WTO division of the Ministry of Commerce of China, and brought market information and orders from the US government to the 14th CIFIT.
Xiamen Port and Zhangzhou Port were integrated on Aug 31 and are being called Xiamen Port. The Xiamen Port authority is now in charge of both ports. The new Xiamen Port will be an international shipping hub of container traffic of international trade and bulk cargo transportations.
