Trade gala draws more than 3,200 exhibitors

Preparations for the 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) is going smoothly, said Huang Ling, director of the program affair department of the organizing committee of the fair, at a press conference held in Beijing late last month.

Huang, who is the vice-mayor of the CIFIT host city of Xiamen, said the fair will have new features and have 3,214 international standard booths, 400 more than the previous one. Organizing work of different exhibition venues is progressing smoothly, said Huang.

The fair will be opened tomorrow and run till Saturday.
