Ample options still for business

Global businesses still consider China as an important growth destination and as one of the most promising regions for investment despite the recent clamor for a further relaxation in the business climate.

The Chinese market is still "attractive" to foreign businesses, said Jacques de Boissson, president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.

European companies stillconsider China as an important market in their global strategy especially after the financial crisis, as profits have shrunk in most of the other regions, he said.
