China lends a helping hand to other nations

China is fast becoming a major donor in international aid and humanitarian efforts with 2010 being the 60th anniversary of the cause.

Even though China has its own poverty alleviation measures and other problems to contend with, it has been actively promoting cooperation in global development to achieve win-win results with its partners.

Premier Wen Jiabao has recently called for greater efforts to further push forward the country's international aid activities.
