The House of Dynasties at Rosewood Beijing

The House of Dynasties, a private dining room of the Chinese restaurant at Rosewood Beijing, will offer a special menu on the Lunar New Year's Eve. Duan Yu, Chinese executive chef at the restaurant, who is renowned for cooking creative Chinese food with cultural connotations in Beijing, will present the dinner package in the theme of "Dedicated Offerings at the Lunar New Year's Eve with Good Fortune and Auspiciousness". The dinner will start with appetizers collectively named "Ying Chun Jie Fu", meaning greeting the New Year while bidding farewell to the passing year, and bestowing good fortune and bliss. (Another name is "Liu Wei Ji", the collection of six flavors.) The signature Stewed Imperial Chicken, Conpoy and Matsutake has an auspicious implication, wishing for a lucky year; the Braised Sea Cucumber, Dry Scallops, Abalone, Fish Maw, Goose Web is a classic sea food dish in southern China, embodies a wealthy year with great fortune and prosperity. The fascinating and opulent main courses present the theme of "Good Fortune". The dinner will be completed with classic boiled dumplings, rice dumplings, and osmanthus flowers, which are specially made in Hong Kong-style, signalling reunion and happiness. On-site fried rice dumplings are also for takeaway as a gift to share with friends. Priced at 2,580 yuan per person (plus a 15-percent service fee). Reservations are available for groups of at least four people.
