Is job hopping a bad thing?

chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2016-10-14 13:54

David (UK)

I hire people and I can tell you for a fact job hopping is mostly seen as a negative. Why in the world would I invest 3-6 months of training, average for what my employees do, in a person who has never lasted more than a year in a job? Constant job hopping tells me you are either unable to adapt to different work environments, flakey and unstable or you have a track record of bad decisions (picking the wrong company/career).

Take this advice with a grain of salt.
