Ode to the Grassland rocks Beijing

Ode to the Grassland, a concert performed by the China Ethnic Song and Dance Ensemble, was recently staged in Beijing to celebrate the 70th birthday of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The ensemble performed classic Mongolian songs such as Beautiful Grassland My Hometown, Never-setting Sun Rising on the Grassland, Thousands of Steeds Gallop and Little Sisters of the Grassland.

As China’s first autonomous region, Inner Mongolia plans to showcase its prosperity, its ethnic diversity and economic development.
