Ordos to tap tourism market in Baotou

The tourism bureau of Ordos hosted a tourism promotion conference on Dec 6 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, reports Baotou Daily.
The conference highlighted tourism activities in Ordos including the ice and snow festivals, and aimed to spur winter tourism.
Baotou borders Ordos and the two cities have a shared history and similar cultural customs. Cooperation has been established between the two cities to boost tourism and the economy of the two regions.
