Erdos to see beginning of bullet train operations

The city of Erdos starts selling bullet train tickets from Jining South to Erdos, and from Hohhot East Railway Station to Erdos, on May 10. Bullet trains will begin operation for the first time in Erdos on May 15, which will establish a fast travel channel in the central and western areas of Inner Mongolia.

The first bullet train from Hohhot East Railway Station to Erdos on May 15 will be D6767/8, with a running time of about 2 hours and 27 minutes. A first-class ticket on the train will cost 112.5 yuan ($17.3); a second-class one will be 94 yuan. The D6773/4 from Jining South to Erdos will run 4 hours and 54 minutes, with ticket prices of 168 yuan for first-class and 140 yuan for second-class.
