North China steel trade goes online

The city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia set up an online steel trade site recently, as a steel industry innovation, the first of its kind in the region.

It is backed by the Shanghai Banksteel Co, the Baotou steel trading group, and the Baotou Logistics Park, and has been in pilot operations for the last few months.
