Inner Mongolia’s cross-border e-commerce platform, and also a bonded goods exhibition and trade center, went into official operation recently in the city of Chifeng, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

With an investment of 12 million yuan ($1.87 million), the 2,400 square-meter center provides five major services, including bonded goods displays, trade, logistics, marketing expansion and business services.

In addition to online trade and offline experience, the center has introduced a cross-border e-commerce platform. In cooperation with a cloud computing center and a Mongolian database, it’s the only Chinese platform that can search, browse and shop in the Mongolian language.

The center’s operation is significant to push Chifeng and its surrounding areas’ export-oriented economy. The center allows locals to buy goods from over 10 countries and regions in a more convenient way.
