World Leisure Games promoted in Hohhot

A conference to promote the Second World Leisure Games was held in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region on June 15.

Sponsored by the World Leisure Organization, the World Leisure Games is held every five years. After its debut in South Korea in 2010, the second session will take place in Qingdao from Sept 12 to 21 with four parts: world leisure games, summit forum, leisure products expo and leisure culture and art festival.

The world leisure games has 17 items in total, including nine international items, namely, rock climbing, freestyle skating, street dance, e-sports, marathon, dragon boat, martial arts, chess, beach volleyball, as well as eight domestic items such as cycling, fishing and beach football.

A total of 27,000 people is estimated to participate in this leisure event in Qingdao, which has the slogan: In Leisure In Nature.
