Research base on culture communication opens in Inner Mongolia

A research base for the construction of Inner Mongolian culture communication power opened in Inner Mongolia Normal University on May 12.

The research base is designed to be a driving force for the flourishing culture in Inner Mongolia, said Fu Yunchun, the Party secretary of the university, at the base's unveiling ceremony.

He added that the university will bring its research strength in the fields of literature, arts, historical culture, communication, social customs and tourism planning to develop the base into a hub for culture communication power, academic exchange, talent cultivation, information and counseling services in the region.

Zheng Futian, head of the research base, introduced that they will focus their studies on four subjects, including the top-level design of Inner Mongolian culture communication, the development of culture brands with Inner Mongolian characteristics, and the cultivation of cultural communication professionals.

He urged the experts and scholars in the research base devote to spreading the charming Inner Mongolia culture to a wider world.

This research base was approved by the publicity department of Inner Mongolia on April 22, 2014, and listed in the region's second batch of philosophy and social sciences research bases. To date, the base has nine research projects approved.
