Four hours will be saved flying from Hohhot to Hong Kong, thanks to a new direct flight between Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Hong Kong, which started on July 11, according to the Hohhot tourism bureau.

The flight, HX326/7, is operated by Hong Kong Airlines every Monday and Friday, and will take about three hours and twenty minutes, unlike the previous route for passengers traveling between the two cities, which required them to transfer at Beijing or Shanghai.

The flight is a great convenience for travelers; moreover, it will be a driving force for trade and economy, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two cities.
