Zhou Ding, known for his landscape painting, was born in Jiaocheng City, Shanxi province, in 1955. In 1988, he was introduced to Hohhot as an artist. Over the years, Zhou Ding has devoted himself to his art, being a member of the Chinese Artists Association, director of the Inner Mongolia Artists Association, and subeditor of Painter and Calligrapher. Zhou Ding has held joint exhibitions and personal exhibitions in Beijing, Luoyang, Guilin, Chengdu, Taiwan, and Malaysia. The most representative of his works are Yellow River, Hope from the Mountain and Golden Autumn.
