Beauty pageant to kick off in Inner Mongolia

The International Mongolian Beauty Pageant will kick off on June in Resonant Sand Bay Tourist Area, Xiangshawan in Chinese. Beauties from China, Mongolia and Russia will assemble for the contest, according to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Tourism Bureau.

This beauty pageant’s schedule includes sportswear, swimwear, fashion dress, evening gown and Mongolian costume shows. Three contestants will be chosen as champion, runner-up and second runner-up. Three ladies will also be recognized as Miss Mongolian Etiquette, Miss Mongolian Life and Miss Sand Beach based on the performance in corresponding fields.

Registration will be free to all participants. Those who qualify for the semi-final will receive free training. The contestants at this stage can have a free holiday reception in the Resonant Sand Bay Tourist Area, the contest’s venue.

The fifth International Photography Week will be held during the beauty pageant. Photographers from home and abroad will record the beautiful event with their cameras.

Xiangshawan is a national 5A tourist attraction in Inner Mongolia that features desert landscapes, ethnic customs, bonfire parties, folk dances, camel rides and sand skiing.
