0TOKYO - A magnitude-5.2 earthquake jolted Japan's Ibaraki prefecture northeastern at 5:48 local time with a depth of 50 km., Japan Meteorological Agency(JMA) said.
Tremor was felt in Tokyo. No alert for tsunami was issued.
The northeast Shinkansen was suspended temporarily.
