BANGKOK - Ten people were killed and 24 others were injured in a bus-truck collision in northeast Thailand early Wednesday, police said.
The passenger bus, en route from the capital Bangkok to Si Sa Ket province, crashed head-on with an 18-wheel truck at around 03: 45 am local time in Surin province, the Bangkok Post quoted local police as saying.
The two drivers were among the dead. The injured people, seven in critical condition, were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
