The Jewel of Yunnan: Ganden Stumtseling Monastery

The Ganden Stumtseling Monastery in Shangri-la county on March 14, 2013, in Southwest China's Yunnan province. Built in 1679, the structure is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the province, and is sometimes referred to as the Little Potala Palace. The monastery is a tourist magnet as millions of people visit the place for its unique scenery and spiritual attributes. [Photo/Xinhua]
