Is it difficult for well-educated women to find a partner?

"High status" men tend to value women only for looks.

A lot of women (not all, but particularly middle class women) tend to value men mainly for their status (earnings, social position, etc) and will only marry up. Unfortunately, a large proportion of 'higher status' men value women only for their looks and maybe for their personality as a distant second. This creates a mismatch between what the well-educated career woman is looking for and what the men she is looking for want in a woman.
