Sadly, Chinglish is slowly but surely being eradicated from parts of China, predominantly in the big tourist cities such as Beijing or Shanghai.

This is actually bad news in one way, as most tourists appreciate the quirky charm of the signs. They are something to stand beside and be photographed with. I especially liked the sign at the railway station, "Western men please bend over backwards when entering carriage to stop head hurt."

I love Chinglish!
