Cyrus is a watch brand run by a pair of young cousins, whose fathers are brothers and mothers are twin sisters, with Laurent Lecamp as the founder and managing director, and Julien Lecamp as the creative director of the company.

The name of the brand comes from an important historical figure in ancient Persia - "Cyrus the Great". He was considered one of the greatest conquerors of the world, whose spirit of conquest is reflected today in the watches of Cyrus.

But Cyrus was not only a great conqueror who lived 2,500 years ago; today, he is also regarded as the precursor to the founders of human rights. In order to reflect the strong values, the spirit of conquest, and the values of profound humanity, the timepiece chose this name.

The watch company is also the owner of a very famous 24-carat gold antique coin which was minted during the reign of Cyrus. The coin has been beautifully preserved and a limited number of certified copies have been fitted into their watches using gold as the base material. The antique coin depicts a lion and a bull in combat, a strong symbol of conquest, ostensibly to transfer the strong energy from long ago to the watch's owner.

"You have a dream, you believe it, and you can succeed," he said, "And you also need to be patient."

He is optimistic about the Chinese market, and plans to march into China step by step. As now there is still no Cyrus store in China, he will focus on the Chinese market in the near future.

He stressed the uniqueness of the brand Cyrus, and is always seeking differentiate the brand from others. "If you want to be successful, you have to be different," Lecamp said.

Cyrus plans to first open stores in small Chinese cities, instead of big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, to avoid fierce competition and foster its uniqueness.
